Sunday night, I attended Morgan State University‘s Spring Fashion Show to support their 8th year run as a super talented fashion group. Although it was my second year attending (last year I styled a scene), I am pretty sure I’ll be showing my face for many more years to come. I also dropped in on one of their practices a couple of weeks prior to the show and immensely felt the energy there, so I knew the show would be amazeballs. Fashion at Morgan AKA FAM successfully named this show, SuperNova, pushing out a stellar explosion through high fashion, urban wear, and all around undeniably chicness. I loved everything from the music to the models’ runway walks – it totally brought me back to my high school and college days of flying down the runway in the most highest heels I could find. I started off backstage to get some cool candid shots of clothes and models and then the rest was for the show. Check out the pics!
Loved that they had an inspiration board for hair and makeup. I spy bold brows, big, funky hair dos, and sultry make up.

It feels uber rewarding to be able to support college students who are taking their talents to the stage for the world to see. Fashion groups like FAM (founded by my friend Avon Dorsey) gives people an opportunity to be creative, enhance their production skills, learn new things and simply have a good time outside of the dreadful school work. Ha! But any who, thanks again for inviting me FAM and keep up the great work!
